Association of Chinese Computer Scientists in Germany (GCI) plans to host its 2025 Annual Conference themed “Large Model and Agent” from October 31 to November 2, 2025, in Heidelberg, Germany. During the conference, Chinese and German scientists, corporate executives, and experts will engage in in-depth discussions on technological advancements and trends in areas such as robotics, generative AI, artificial general intelligence, computer vision, brain-computer interfaces and autonomous driving.
Conference Format:
The event will be held in a hybrid format, with in-person participation in Heidelberg as the main mode, and online access via Tencent Meeting and livestreaming also available.
Call for Submissions:
Submissions are open to Chinese and German scholars. Presenters must submit a 1–2 page extended abstract in Chinese or English. Selected authors will be invited by the organizing committee to present at the conference. Accepted abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings and featured in the technical column of the association’s official WeChat account.
Outstanding submissions may be recommended for publication in renowned international journals after further expansion.

Registration is open now until October 15, 2025, or until capacity is reached.
Presentation Topics:
Topics include but are not limited to: Large models, Intelligent agents, Generative AI, Artificial general intelligence, Computer vision, Brain-computer interfaces, Autonomous driving. Requirements: Clear focus, structured content, accurate data, rigorous analysis, and well-defined conclusions, No plagiarism, Presentations may be in Chinese or English. Time slots: Invited talks: 30 minutes, Regular talks: 20 minutes (15 minutes presentation + 5 minutes Q&A). Slides may be in Chinese or English; Microsoft PowerPoint is recommended. A video projector will be provided.

Due to venue limitations, early registration is encouraged for in-person attendance.After the organizing committee’s reserved hotel rooms are filled, attendees must book accommodations independently. Final selection of in-person attendees will be made by the organizing committee, and invitations will be sent accordingly (please provide a valid email address when registering).

- Conference Registration Fee: All participants are required to pay a standard registration fee of €20 or ¥160 (RMB). Student members pay half price.

Subsidies for Presenters*:
According to the relevant regulations of the Association of Chinese Computer Scientists in Germany, this conference will subsidize presenters with one bed in a double room on the night of November 1 (€56). Costs for breakfast, the single room price difference (€56), accommodation on October 31, and parking are self-funded.
For presenters unable to reimburse travel expenses, the conference will subsidize:A second-class train ticket or Fuel costs at €0.30 per kilometer. Maximum travel subsidies: up to €70 for distances within 400 km, up to €150 for distances over 400 km.

Official members of the Association of Chinese Computer Scientists in Germany will receive a subsidy for one bed in a double room on the night of November 1 (€56). Costs for breakfast, the single room price difference (€56), accommodation on October 31, parking, and travel are self-funded.
*Note: Each subsidy cannot be claimed more than once.

About the Association of Chinese Computer Scientists in Germany:
The Association of Chinese Computer Scientists in Germany was founded in 1986 in Karlsruhe, Germany. It is a non-profit organization officially registered with the Karlsruhe court and is a group member of the China Computer Federation (CCF). The association currently has nearly 1,000 members, most of whom are experts engaged in IT management, research, or production, having earned master’s or doctoral degrees in Germany. GCI boasts a large pool of talent proficient in areas such as: Internet technologies, Big data, Artificial intelligence, Advanced intelligent manufacturing, Brain-inspired computing, Robotics.

About Heidelberg:
Heidelberg is a renowned cultural and tourist city in Germany, a historic town and university city nestled along the Neckar River. It is considered a symbol of romantic Germany, with winding and tranquil alleys connecting the ancient castle and the river, creating a poetic and picturesque atmosphere.The castle sits atop the Königstuhl (King’s Throne) hill by the Neckar River. It is a reddish-brown medieval fortress, once the site of an imperial palace. Built primarily from Neckar sandstone, its architecture is complex and stylistically diverse.
